I'm driven to create. I love making things I've never made before and I am delighted when somebody has an idea they'd like me to bring to life.Â
I have five children and we're all neurodivergent. We roll with the hard parts and lean into the helpful bits. We navigate a lot of other disabilities in our world and I love that crafting draws me into a place of meditation and creative energy.
I like to laugh, I love terrible puns, and I feel at home when I go outside.
The shape of my workspaces is always changing, because my crafts change. My main workspace is a wonderful indoor room that is currently lined with wire shelves full of tools, supplies, and projects at various stages of completion. I also do some of my creating outdoors or in a corner of the shop on our property. Outdoor projects are usually those things that use my power sander or chop saw.
I don't have a large table for full hides, so I am forever having to mop before laying out the big projects. Here, I'm cutting out some medium leather shoulder bags.
The sun was out, so I was out! I set up my band saw and power sander and got to work making some wooden costume swords!
