I first designed this as a belt pouch to carry a wallet or trinkets, I later added a cross-body strap and lengthened the pouch to be able to tuck a cell phone inside. I love the texture of both sides of this chrome-tanned leather. One side is very soft and the other is pleasantly "fuzzy." Most of the pouches use a snap for closure and all of them retain some type of belt loop and/or clip that accommodates belts up to 3" wide. For optional decoration, I have wooden and ceramic beads to add onto to a bit of leather or natural fiber string.

These are designed with a wider, slightly flared top to reduce the rocking motion when drawing or sheathing your tool without the bulk and fuss of a second strap. They're made from a medium-weight vegetable tanned leather that is extremely durable. I've made them both with and without my shoppe's logo hand-burned into the belt strap. This type of leather can also be tooled or stamped. I have rivets in chrome, gunpowder black, brass, and antique bronze as shown.Â
Wait, that's backwards.
